Terms & Conditions of Service
– Payment: All fees are payable in advance, before your first lesson or consultation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be received at least 48 hours before your initial session. Your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been received. If payment has not been received by this deadline, your appointment will be automatically cancelled. Any subsequent rebooking will be subject to availability. No refund will be issued where an appointment is cancelled due to non-payment or late payment. Any subsequent booking will be subject to availability.
– Cancellation or non-attendance: The cancellation notice period for the initial session is 48 hours. For any subsequent follow-up session, 24 hours’ notice is required. If you cancel or fail to attend with less than the applicable notice, the session will be considered used and will not be rescheduled.
For individually booked lessons or consultations, the full fee for the missed session remains payable and no refund will be due. For courses paid for in full, the missed session will be deducted from the course and the course will therefore have one fewer session remaining.
– Course refunds: Once a course has started, the course fee is non-refundable, regardless of the payment method used.
– Payment methods: These terms apply equally to all payment methods, including credit card, debit card and instalment/BNPL payment options such as Klarna.
– We understand the weather conditions and do not normally practice under the rain or if it is very hot outside. This is a matter of discussion between you and your trainer and reschedules are available at a short notice in this case.
– In the very unlikely event, Dog Training Planet reserves the right to cancel or change an appointment at any time by notice with immediate effect. Your lesson/consultation will be rescheduled to another convenient time.
– Once paid, the course must be completed within 3 months unless otherwise discussed between you and your instructor. Behaviour modification programs are treated differently and this time frame does not apply to them.
– We expect you to be responsible for planning your activities, journey time and bringing your dog to the training session on time. We usually recommend coming at least 10 minutes before your time slot so you have time to park and walk your dog before your session starts.
– Please let us know if your dog is not fit for training due to illness, disease, injury or for any other reason.
– Once your course has started, refunds cannot be provided.
– Dog Training Planet will make every effort to make sure you and your dog are safe during your training lessons with us. However, Dog Training Planet cannot be held liable for any loss or damage of your property; or the loss, injury or death of your dog whilst training.
– While your instructor will try their best to avoid and/or prevent any dangerous situations during your lesson, it is your responsibility to keep your dog under control at all times. If your training is related to Dog Aggression, you will need to make sure that your dog will not cause any injuries to any other animals or people during your training session. If unsure, your dog must wear a muzzle.
– Training session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour unless otherwise specified. Behavioural consultations and training have different pattern and time frames can be variable depending on circumstances.
